Alphonsus Health System has opportunities for students as a Nuclear
Medicine Technologist. Duties include operating nuclear
scintillation equipment to produce clinical diagnostic films as
prescribed by physicians and perform routine diagnostic procedures
according to established standards and practices. The employee may
travel between our two Idaho sites - 15 miles apartSKILLS,
KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Registered by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologist Technologist
(ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or enrolled in an NMTCB or ARRT
acknowledged radiology program.
- Must provide documentation to demonstrate active status at the
start of each term.
- Students classified as seniors must also provide documentation
showing that they have met graduation requirements 30 days prior to
graduation.
- Upon completion of NMTCB or ARRT recognized program, NMTCB or
ARRT registry examination must be successfully passed within 90
days.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from
either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at
hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS
as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.HIGHLIGHTS AND
