Preparation activities include caulking, sanding, and taping units, as well as moving structures from different areas using heaving machinery. This is a key position and will ensure that the finished product is of high quality and free of any blemishes prior to shipment to our customers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:--Paint assembled units using HLVP spray gun.----File, grind, sand, and smooth assembled or welded surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.--Spray prepared surfaces with specified amounts of primers and finish coatings.--Monitor painting operations to identify flaws, such as blisters or streaks, and correct their causes.--Disassemble, clean, and reassemble sprayers or power equipment, using solvents, wire brushes, and cloths.--Manage time, tasks, and workflows independently with little supervision.--REQUIREMENTS:--High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)----1-2 years' relevant painting experience (required) 3-5 years is preferred.Experience painting in a production/metal fabrication facility highly desired--Experience using HVLP spray guns.Proven attention to details, the small things matter.SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day.--The ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position.--Ability to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.-----Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized environment, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.----Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch throughout an 8-to-10-hour day.---Strength to carry product, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push or pull product up to 100 pounds.--Ability to work in both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.Ability to pass a background check and drug screeningNOTE: As part of the final interview candidates will be invited to perform an observed spray application process before an offer of employment is made.--JTS is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.Powered by JazzHRPIf0c60c53bc9e-25660-36538454
