Job Description:

for all new hire drivers and/or entry level driver trainees.
Responsible for safely transporting and delivering products or
materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form, while abiding by all
state and local traffic laws.Typical Education
- High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
- CDL Truck Driver schoolRelevant Experience-- --
- Always maintain conscientiousness for safety, while driving as
well as performing all other duties
- Full compliance with all FMCSA/DOT regulations and other
Company policies and procedures as applicable
- Haul, load, and handle products as assigned while maintaining
efficiencies, such as fuel and best hauling and loading
practices
- Inspects truck for defects before, during, and after trips and
submits report indicating truck condition
- Obtains schedule of load times and locations for the day and
drives truck to destination applying knowledge of commercial
driving regulations and skills
- Must be able to back up and maneuver in and around tight
areas
- Maintains electronic driver log according to
DOT--regulations
- Regularly inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires,
lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
- Makes truck and/or trailer available for scheduled
maintenanceRequired Certifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements and a
valid DOT Medical CertificationOther InformationPHYSICAL DEMANDS:--

required by this job include close vision, distance vision,
peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust
