SUMMARY--To help produce high quality feed products at the lowest possible cost and help meet organizational sales and profit objectives while complying with all State and Federal regulations.--ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEssential duties and responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Operates mixing and load out systems, drives lift trucks occasionally. ----

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a working knowledge of mixing, operating grain roller mill, pellet mill, dairy line, receiving system, grinding machinery, block press and lift truck. LANGUAGE SKILLS--Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.--MATHEMATICAL SKILLS--Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.--REASONING ABILITY--Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.--PHYSICAL DEMANDS --The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
