Description & Requirements
We are seeking a Sr. ETL Tester to join our team supporting our
Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client.
Location of work is remote in US.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Apply systems analysis and testing techniques and procedures to
ensure software or system functional specifications are correctly
identified.
- Create test-related work products (test cases/scripts, test
datasets, test validation and verification results etc.) per
testing standards and procedures.
- Prepare any required reporting documentation for the respective
testing activities.
- Ensure adherence to performance standards and best practices
during testing
- Test artifact generation using Test management tools.
- Test ETL codes that handle complex transformation rules.
- Use PowerCenter Informatica 10.5.2 or equivalent version to test
ETL workflows.
- Develop and execute SQL queries against relational databases.
- Use workflow/workload automation scheduler.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in
lieu of degree.
- ETL testing experience with PowerCenter Informatica 10.0 or newer
version.
- Strong experience in SQL query development and testing.
- Experience in workflow/workload automation scheduler.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to work well independently or in a team setting.
- Preferred: Prior Informatica development experience.
Additional Requirements, as per Contract/Client:
- Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS
Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active IRS
Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
- Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident
(Green Card status) for 3 years, and be Federal Tax compliant.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not
limited to job location, a candidate's education, training,
experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel
(if any), external market and internal value analysis including
seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.
Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation
package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives
as well as program-specific awards. Additionally, Maximus provides
a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance
coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan,
paid holidays and paid time off. Compensation ranges may differ
based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties
