  • Job Details
  • A hospital in Idaho is in need of Telemetry RN's to work a 13 week travel assignment.
  • The Tele nurses will be working 12 hour shifts, nights or days are available.
  • The hospital is wanting someone to start ASAP.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have 2 years experience as a Tele nurse.
    • Must have cardiac drip experience, NIH stoke assessment experience, post cath recovery and chest tube experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 0700-1930 and 1900-0730.
      • We do allow for trades with peers.
      • We do not do block scheduling.
      • Weekend Requirements: travelers will fill in the needs.
      • Holiday Requirements: travelers fill in needs.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: Tele
        • - # Beds: 27 will be adding 10 more beds in June.
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4
        • Are RN's required to titrate drips: No
        • Common titratable: Will commonly see set rate diltiazem and amiodarone.
        • Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit: Tele techs on floor until June, then they will centralize off site.
        • RNs required to read and interpret: Will read and document every 6 hours.
        • Currently using SpaceLab monitors, transitioning to Philips.
        • Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes we have both- will not take patients.
        • Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios: Yes 1:8/9.
        • RT/Equipment: CPAP, BiPAP, high flow- RT will manage.
        • Floating Requirements: Will float to like units and Med/Surg at times.
        • May also float to Boise Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center to like units and MedSurg if needed.
        • May also float to ICU if experienced.
        • Scrub Color: Any as long as they are clean, well kept, and professional.
        • Department Specific Orientation: System onboarding then 2 orientation shifts.
          • Additional Details
          • This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.
          • To ensure adherence to this rule, we will require the candidates' perm address in the submittal to confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
