Excavation Tech Needed Looking for a great career with a growing company? Have mad skills operating heavy equipment and aren't afraid to do some hard work? Our field technicians (Excavation Technicians) are responsible for the performance of tasks associated with surveying the project site to study and analyze a variety of conditions, including the slope of the land, types of soil, and underlying facilities or structures. The technicians safely and skillfully operate heavy equipment to complete the project. Employees locate and repair broken drain lines among other tasks. Daily bonus potential available upon completion of the 90-day introductory period. Key Responsibilities Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all time Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities Provide customer service and quality work that exceeds customer expectations Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the day Operates light and heavy equipment including: skid steers, forklifts, excavators and vacuum equipment Job Requirements 6 months construction or general labor experience Clean Motor Vehicle Record Must pass background check and drug test Safety oriented mindset with the determination to follow all procedures and policies Ability and willingness to work on an occasional on-call basis High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work independently Ability to read, understand and complete scopes of work with limited supervision Mechanical aptitude Ability to lift 50 lbs.
